Only MSI-based editions of Outlook 2010 are supported, not Click-to-Run editions. See the installation instructions at Administrator setup for Google Apps Sync. Administrators: If you're pushing the upgrade to users via an MSI file, note that there's a separate MSI installation file for the 64-bit edition of Outlook, so be sure to download the correct file for your users.
